Strategic support and consultancy

We work with individual schools and pupil referral units (short stay schools) to:

  • Develop their policies and systems to improve pupil behaviour
  • Review and develop their spcial educational needs provision
  • Develop alternatives to exclusion
  • Reduce disaffection through pastoral and curricular responses
  • Provide management support
  • Advise and support governing bodies in developing and implementing behaviour and attendance strategies

Our work with local authorities:

  • Development of Behaviour Support services
  • Supporting the development of outreach services from special schools and pupil referral units (short stay schools)
  • Contributing to review and reorganisation of BESD/SEBD provision to create integrated provision
  • Advising on the review and development of SEN provision

Our support for multi-agency parnerships:

  • Management support and advice at senior and middle-management levels
  • Cross-agency training to promote deeper understanding and improved collaboration
  • Advising of on-going monitoring and evaluation strategies

Where required, we are able toassist with the development and implementation of large scale projects, using PRINCE2 methodology.
